I am on-call for you between weeks 38β42. This means I will remain in the area and commit to being at your birth within 2.5 hours of you asking me to come.
If I have another client in labor or experience an emergency that prevents me from attending your birth, my backup doula will step in to provide support.
If you happen to go into labor before my on-call window begins, I cannot guarantee that I will be there. However, either myself or my backup doula will do our best to attend and support you.

For childbirth education classes, payment is due in full at the time of booking.
While I do not accept insurance, I can accept HSA and FSA cards.
If my services are outside of your family's budget, I do offer flexible payment plans. I am happy to work with you to find a bi-weekly or monthly payment amount that fits your family's needs.

Absolutely! One of my goals as your doula is to support both you and your partner throughout the birth experience. I don't take the place of your primary support person, instead, I work alongside them.
During our prenatal visits, we'll discuss your preferences and create a plan for how we can best work together to support you during labor. Throughout the birth, I often provide guidance, encouragement, and practical suggestions to your partner so they can feel confident and equipped to support you effectively.
Think of me as an experienced guide who helps both of you navigate labor as a team.

Yes! Doulas are valuable regardless of the type of birth you are planning or ultimately experience.
If you are planning to receive an epidural, or if you decide to get one during labor, I can help you understand the benefits, risks, and what to expect. I also assist with position changes and the use of a peanut ball to help open the pelvis and encourage your baby to descend.
If you are planning a cesarean birth or one becomes necessary, I am there to provide emotional support and advocacy throughout the process. Depending on hospital policy, I may be able to accompany you into the operating room. After the birth, I remain with you during recovery, helping with breastfeeding, pumping, and your transition into the postpartum period.

Once you find out you're expecting a new little one, I encourage you to start researching and looking for a doula who matches your personality, values, and birth preferences. Doulas can book up quickly, so the sooner you begin your search, the better! Booking early also gives you more time to build a relationship with your doula and prepare for your birth together.
If you're already in your third trimester, don't worry! There is still plenty of time to build a relationship and create a plan for the birth experience you desire.

βThe doula accompanies the client in labor, provides emotional and physical support, suggests comfort measures, and provides support and suggestions for the partner. Whenever possible, the doula provides pre- and post-partum emotional support, including explanation and discussion of practices and procedures, and assistance in acquiring the knowledge necessary for the client to make informed decisions about their own care. Additionally, as doulas do not βprescribeβ treatment, any suggestions or information provided within the role of the doula must be done with the proviso that the doula advises their client to check with the primary care provider before using any application.β

First and foremost, I am a Christian and believe that the Lord has beautifully knit our bodies together to create life and birth babies. However, we live in a fallen world, and things do not always go according to our expectations, dreams, or plans. Because of this, I believe support is foundational to helping you feel cared for, encouraged, and confident through every stage of the journey. Plus we are not meant to do life alone!
My heart is for you to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus and your spouse throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I hope to help you learn to trust the Lord, surrender what is outside of your control, and prepare well for what is within your control.
I believe one of the gifts the Lord has given me is the ability to recognize what support you need without always having to be explicitly told. I desire to listen to your wishes and help communicate them to your care team during labor. I take a hands-on approach to support, whether that means providing counter-pressure, holding you through a contraction, or praying over you. There will also be times when you are in the "labor zone" and may not want hands-on support. In those moments, I will be there to encourage you, cheer you on, and provide a calm, supportive presence.
